Books

It all started in 2020, right before the world went into full-on lockdown mode. I had this brilliant idea: start a book club. Because nothing says "coping with global chaos," like escaping into fictional ones. Since we're all military spouses scattered across time zones and duty stations, the club kicked off virtually — and somehow, despite the madness, it stuck.

Fast forward a few years (and, yes, a few dusty chapters), the book club survived — but this page? Not so much. Life happened. Deployments, PCS moves, maybe a few too many half-finished books. But I'm back, and it's time to update things.

Here, you'll find what I'm reading — for the book club and just for fun. Fair warning: my reading list is as random as this site's name suggests. One week, it's a memoir; the next, it's spicy fantasy, and occasionally... a cookbook I have no intention of using.

So whether you're here to join the club, steal a few recommendations, or snoop on my literary chaos — welcome back to the randomness.
