Netflix Made Me Do It Again

First, it was Twilight. Netflix dropped that bold little banner saying the saga was leaving soon, and suddenly I was knee-deep in sparkly vampires, werewolf angst, and “personal brand of heroin” flashbacks.

Now? It’s A Discovery of Witches.

Who keeps turning all these books into TV shows and movies? And more importantly — why am I always the target audience?

Once again, I logged in for a little background TV, and next thing I know, I’m bingeing through supernatural romance like it’s 2011 again. And honestly? I'm not mad. A Discovery of Witches has witches, vampires, daemons, ancient manuscripts, and slow-burn everything.

But here's the thing — the Discovery of Witches TV show ended, and the books didn’t. There are still two more books left in the All Souls universe. So why haven’t we gotten a revival yet? Netflix, HBO, literally someone — I’m begging you. Let’s get back to Oxford, stat.

Until then, I guess I’ll be rereading Shadow of Night like it’s my job.
